Live Sport is shown here on the large screen TV next to the bar. The Trader has a small selection of Real Ales on tap. They only have 3 real ales on tap at any one time, the reason behind this being that the ale will be fresher, ‘enabling you to enjoy the beers at their best.’
The trader does not have a Pool Table or a Darts board, but it does hold a weekly pub quiz every Sunday night at 7.30pm, with the chance to win a cash prize.
A Sunday Lunch is served at the Trader every Sunday from 12-3pm; a carvery with 3 meats and fresh, local vegetables. An adult’s carvery will set you back £7.95 and a child’s £3.95. The trader advise that you book for the carvery in advance to avoid disappointment, as it is very popular with locals.
The Trader also serve food on weeknights and weekends, with a fine selection of local produce being used in most meals. The food is quite reasonably priced, and is always very tasty.
